Air Fryer Roasted Potato
Roasted Potatoes out of the air fryer
Spicy and crispy potato chunks, everyone's favourite! isn't it? But would it not be wonderful that its healthy and tasty at the same time.
These are air fried, and taste even better than the fried ones, you wont feel bloated or heavy after eating this.
If you don't have a deep fryer, you can always use oven to bake it :)
Ingredients:
Potatoes - 3 or 4 Large ( peeled and cut into 1 inch chunks, Soaked in cold water for 1/2 hour)
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp or to taste
Seasoning : ( Optional)
Parmesan cheese - 4 tbsp
Black pepper- 1/2 tsp
Olive oil - 1 tbsp
Salt- pinch
Garlic powder- 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilly flakes- 1/4 tsp ( If you like it hot)
Italian seaoning/ dried oregano/herb of your choice -1/4 tsp crushed
Parsely dried- 1/4 tsp
or you can season with whatever you like :)
Method:
- For Airfryer :
- Preheat Air fryer to 390 degrees F for 3 minutes ( thats the maximum temperature my air fryer could reach)
- Evenly coat potatoes with olive oil and salt
-Air fry for 20-25 minutes until they are crispy and golden from outside. Shake halfway through.
- Toss with seasoning.
- Enjoy!
-For Oven:
- Preheat oven to 400 degree F
- Evenly coat potatoes with olive oil and salt
- Spread in single layer on a lighly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake for about 45 minutes or until crispy and golden. Flip two or three times while cooking to ensure even cooking.
- Toss with seasoning.
-Enjoy!
The best result was achieved in Air fryer,very closed to actually oil fried potatoes, but oven is another healthy option too if you don't have an air fryer.
